Homeowners at last AKA we're poor like everyone else!

We closed on the house last Friday, and have started making it our own. Painting is nearly complete in the living and dining rooms, and we're almost done with the kitchen and basement. The master bedroom and hallway are done, but I am thinking the master looks weird, so I may redo it. I'll post pictures once we're done, so far there isn't much to see!

We move this Friday, so we're dividing time between the house to paint and clean, and the apartment to pack and clean. And Abbey is losing her mind, she just doesn't get the new house yet--although she was comfortable enough to pee on the carpet already ;)

Just wanted to post an update, it'll probably be another two weeks before I do it again!

I am going to see NKOTB tomorrow night at the Qwest, hopefully I can sneak in my camera and get some sweet shots of that!!

Good Bye First Trimester!

I can't believe that I will be 12 weeks prego next week, it has gone by so fast. It's hellped that I haven't have any sickness, which I am very grateful for. I've kind of have the opposite; I am hungry but nothing sounds appetizing, so as a result I've lost weight. I got a nice little lecture from my dr last week, so I've been trying to eat more, and I think after this weekend, I have to have put on at least 10 pounds! Friday night we had Applebees where we polished off mozzarella sticks, I had a steak and potatoes and veggies, all so tasty! Then today we had Hu Hot for lunch, and just had McDonalds for dinner. I didn't say it was healthy, but it was definitely fattening! I seem to be getting my energy back, there for a while all I wanted to do was sleep. I could still sleep all day, but today I noticed I wanted to do some chores, so I guess that's an improvement. I've also had some lower back pain, which seems to be worse when I sit, which ...

Well, our first week of daycare and work went great! Harper really seems to enjoy herself there, she eats and sleeps and plays well. And I've been busy at work so it keeps me from dwelling on her all day. We had her two month check up on Monday; she weighs 12 lbs 2.5 oz, and is 23 inches long, both in the 75th percentile. Her head size, which escapes me, was in the 50th percentile. She has great neck control, and everything else looks good. She also took all 5 shots like a champ! She cried some, but I think part of that was hungry cries...we agreed that we've heard her cry worse when her dinner was late! We spent this past weekend in York for Great Grandpa Kant's 91st birthday. We had fun swimming at the pool; all the boys end up trying to outdo themselves on the diving board, and then the little girls try to mimick their older cousins, uncles and fathers. ..but almost four months between posts is ridiculous! I have no good excuse other than sheer laziness...that and I hate the way blogger posts photos, and it usually irritates me enough to delete my post anyway. So I will try to be better! I'll give some updates of what's kept me so busy, but I have no idea when they happen--I can't even remember what I did last week... Furniture shopping...Erich and I were under some strange impression that we had this wonderful discount at NFM for furniture through Home Real Estate, so we scoured that store at least four times looking for bookshelves,living room sets, entertainment centers, tvs, deep freezes, kitchen tables, hutches...you name it, we looked at it. And we could not find anything we liked, and by the end of the visit everything had merged into one big lump of data; my photos and notes taken throughout the trip looked like another language. And almost every trip ended in us bickering and leaving upset that we couldn't ag...
